Loughborough Dolphins is a women's team playing, this season, in Division 3 of English Volleyball's National League.

The club was formed in April 2007 following the decision by the Athletic Union at Loughborough University to disband the Loughborough Students 2 team,which was at the time playing in Division 1 of the National League. Some of the players from that team plus a number of other locally based players came together to form Loughborough Dolphins.

The team aspires to achieve excellence with the aim to play in the top flight of the National League. The club moto being Pride and Respect- pride in oneself and respect for others.
